Starting an Online Franchise Business

With online shopping on the rise and an growing number of individuals going online as their initial stop for buying products and services, online franchises are part of a fast growing market. Even for those that don't actually shop on the web, the world wide web is turning into a recurrent place for people to do their research before making a buying decision.

If you take into account the non-geographical nature of online business together with the wide range of goods and services that afford themselves to being traded on the web, its obvious that internet franchise businesses have a promising future.

An online franchise is potentially an exceptionally attractive start up opportunity as a lot of them can be operated from a home office with no requirement for trade office or premises, keeping operating charges down. The flexibility that this affords the business owner, forms another part of the desirability in that a website can be open for trading 24 hours a day. This ensures that your business is constantly open for guests and possible customers even if you leave it unattended, unlike a usual business that may need constant supervision whilst it is open for business.

A few of the online franchise businesses at this time on hand are:

Area Directory Service Franchise businesses

These neighborhood business directories are a good resource of area information for prospective consumers. The inspiration of this type of franchise is to sell the directory to community businesses providing them internet advertising exposure to the local community.

Web Design and Promotion Franchises

These are providing of web site design and promotion services mostly business to business. The idea of this franchise business is to present a selection of website promotion choices to possible buyers. Normally, nominal practical capability is required by the franchise franchise operator as they in effect sell services that are sourced and/or supplied by the franchise owner themselves.

Online Franchise Purchasing

Like with any other business investment, its sensible to carry out your study before purchasing an internet franchise business. Reserve time to look at your points of strength and weakness and consider options which suit your individuality and the things you take pleasure in doing.

Money will as well be a sizable consideration so make time to investigate financing choices with your bank. The bank might also be able to provide you with some history of the franchise system. Its important that you call in on the franchisor to see their setup and furthermore speak to a few of their franchisees to get a hold of on-the-ground opinions on how the franchise system performs for them every day.

Be sure you obtain legal guidance as there should be legal contracts involved in the franchise opportunity start up and its wise to be properly informed and covered against any repercussions. When you have made your selection, commit yourself to following the franchise system and doing your best to make the franchise work for you.

A Quick Research on Various Types of Ways on Building an Email List

Every busines sonline or off line needs a promotion. The type of business we wish to reserch is email marketing techniques.
Using newsletters, announcements, promotions, is a good, inexpensive way to reach prospects and customers with your message.
Being totaly honest and keeping our integrity we don´t want to send promotions without consent of the prospects.

You probably already have a number of email addresses collected in your contact management softwares. This would be a first source of addresses to use. With time you will know if the prospects are interested or not, usually you will get a notice

Rent lists from vendors that sell addresses of people who have given permission fo address use. There are a variety of vendors who sell targeted opt-in lists for one-time or multiple use. The vendor will do the mailing for you and you retain addresses after recipients take an action that gives you their email. The prices on lists vary widely (usually starting at $.10 per email), and it is likely that you will have to make a minimum order of at least $500.

This can fit into the spam category, and some associations and groups specifically prohibit bulk mailings to members by other members. Some associations will expel you for this kind of activity, but some are more permissive. Do resarch on what is permitted here!

Add a newsletter promotion to your email signature file. In addition to promoting your web site, this is a good way to get people you know to sign up for your newsletter if you aren't comfortable with adding them to the list automatically.
You can often set up list exchanges with other businesses for one-time or multiple use. Make sure that you have the permission of your list members to do this or you can create a lot of anger among your list members.

Many people publish their email addresses on the web. This way is used by many, by manually collect these email addresses or use software to do this automatically. This method is in the spam category, so not to be recommeded.

Promote the value of your newsletter or mailing list on your web site and use special functions to encourage sign-ups:
Pop-up windows ,pop Under Windows, registration for articles, etc.

There are simple affiliate-type programs that enable you to buy live addresses from site visitors. Average cost is $.25 per each email addres.s Well, this too fits into a spam metod, but it can work. Many of those list are more likely not alive any linger either, and had been sold over and over.

Create the opportunity for your subscribers to forward your email newsletter. If your content is high-value, this "viral" method can multiply your subscribers very effectively.
Your great content can encourage subscribers to sign up for your newsletter, and the cost of the promotion is the use of your content. Many newsletter publishers will allow you to promote your newsletter in their mailings for a fee or for some kind of exchange, including promoting their newsletter in yours.

There are a number of sites that promote or list different newsletters for people to subscribe to. You can also join up with other newsletter publishers with common target markets and list your newsletters together on each of the publisher's sites.
The Implied endorsement is nearly the most powerful way to boost return on investment within advertising and email lists.
Presenting a great value to your niche market and becoming the "must have" newsletter is going to be important in building your list. This kind of value travels fast by word-of-mouth. Not to mention having a product, that is so attractive valuable tha people are raving after it.
The product that creates it value on it own and repays and doubles it´s value: after all you are not after the product solely, you are buiyng a value for yourself, a service , a solution.

A Manager's Challenge-Keeping Things Fresh and Exciting !

Copyright 2006 New World Opportunities Inc.

I think back to my days as a manager in the POS/cash register roll and ribbon business (one division of many in a large direct sales organization) -a business that continually required motivation of the sales troops-and I sometimes reflect on the techniques we employed as managers of our various divisions.

If we were discussing handling a stable of professional athletes,I'd like to believe that -with most of them making salaries of $1-10 million a year- that no motivation would be required. Though, I harken back in recent times to a series filmed for HBO called "Arliss-life of the sports super-agent" and beefy contracts with generous signing bonuses were seldom enough. I recall one hilarious episode featuring a big-name basketball player who absolutely required add-ons like a 8-man hot tub for his new crib, a jewelry allowance for his bling, bling appetite and the use of the owner's corporate jet to fly his extended family around.

But in my case,it was a different animal when we are discussing young people-most in their early 20's- making a range of $200-$1000 a week back in the late 80's/early 90's. The name of the game was sales and grant it;we had a lot of fun, held mostly entertaining and informative morning meetings and afternoon pow-wows and threw a lot of contests and bonus money on the board. But even with all that going on,people get complacent and same-o,same-o becomes the same-o.

I was not your typical sales manager and I prided myself on drafting up creative ways to shake things up . While simultaneously providing some fun and excitement for my people I stilll wanted to create a stronger sense of community. It was also a bigger challenge for me than my colleagues who ran the other 8 or 9 direct sales divisions as their people would get all rah-rah'd up in their lengthy morning meetings and then they would be turned loose on the streets, apartment complexes and office stacks for the rest of the day leaving the managers free to interview, shop, conjure up a contest idea, flirt with secretaries, etc. You get the idea. I,on the other hand, had my people with me all day as our platform was inside sales. So creativity to the "n" th degree was the call of the day often .

Here are just a few of the "ideas" that I came up with and actually executed. A few may seem off the wall but what the hey............at the time it seemed like a good idea. Yes,they got results. Good ones.

It was a flat period for our office come often in early February.Retail was down and consumers were busy paying off their late December shopping spree frenzies. Yet, the weather was unseasonally beautiful, clear and warm and was going to be so for a good week or more. I figured why not use block 'n tackles and take the desks and chairs right up through the skylights and place them on the roof where we had a magnificent view of the North Shore mountains along the coast of the Burrard Inlet behind the city of Vancouver.

The staff loved it ,taking in that fine air whilst enjoying the sun in perfect 72 degree weather and sales actually boosted by close to 40%. Another time,I closed shop early as I felt we were banging our heads off the wall in the office during a heat wave so I chose an air-conditioned pool hall and we staged an all-afternoon tournament and went out for pizza after at a real, neat vintage parlor. They had a blast and came back the next day or few with a vengeance.

This was a good one. I had them all change caps for one (hot) day and go out on the streets with one member of the other divisions to give them a sense of perspective as to how good they had it. After all they received a guaranteed salary in our force and the others were all on pure commission. Wow, did that provide a wake up call and a very sweet result !

My piece de resistance and ,perhaps controversial, was taking them to a 100% nude beach with a great local history near the largest university grounds in all of Canada. In retrospect,I was probably the only one who took it all off ( there were 20 or so of us) as I was quite unabashed that way. I was actually the one conducting the meeting. Good thing I was in shape. Regardless of the preference of each of our team, they returned back to the office with a lot of energy and now knew to never know what to expect with me at the helm and that kept things interesting to say the least.

To conclude, different types of businesses may require a different scope in approach but the one common denominator is that we are all human regardless of the nature of our daily grind and our personalities. Keep things fresh and provocative and odds are you will see less turnstile swinging in your personnel complement and a turbo boost in production not to mention an overrall higher morale.

A Letter to Santa From An Internet Marketer

Yo, Santa! How’s it going in the great white north? Seeing as it tis’ the season, here is my letter about what I want for Christmas.

Been Good

Santa, I know you do that whole good versus bad thing. I promise I’ve been a good internet marketer this year. I haven’t spammed the search engines with mirror sites, link farm purchases or little tricks to tweak your friends at Google. Now, while I’ve been good, I would like a few bad things for Christmas. No ponies here, I want the good stuff.

Dear Santa, I want:

1. A lump of coal to be given to the bad person or persons at Yahoo who’ve been deleting my pages from their search engine results.

2. A lump of coal to the same people at Yahoo who came up with the Site Match nonsense. Feel free to let the reindeer relieve themselves while on the roofs of these peoples’ homes.

3. To meet a person from Google who handles the ranking updates in a bar late at night after they’ve been drinking for four or five hours. I only need 15 minutes. Pleeeeasssee! I’ve been so good.

4. Five minutes in the Ultimate Fighting Octagon with Bill Gates.

5. A few hours with your list of bad people who will get coal for the holidays. Don’t worry, I can figure out which ones are fraudulently clicking my PPC ads.

6. Please send the Santa virus to the people who keep sending me the phishing Pay Pal emails.

7. Same thing for the bad boys and girls sending me pharmaceutical spam.

8. The opportunity to beat each dmoz volunteer editor over the head with my keyboard just once. Okay, maybe twice.

Now I realize you are a master of being subtle. When I visited you at the mall, you acted like I was a lunatic and you didn’t know what I was talking about. I really didn’t appreciate you calling security and the FBI, but I guess everybody has a bad day. I’m sure I can count on you to come through this year.

Oh, I forgot something. Angelina Jolie. Definitely Angelina Jolie. Leave her short dork boyfriend at home.

Now that isn’t too much to ask is it? Is it?

A Dozen Great Search Engine Placement Tips

To be noticed or successful in the World Wide Web one needs to apply sound business sense and practices. When a surfer uses a search engine to find information he will get what he needs within the first 7-10 results displayed. This means that sites that are ranked higher than 10 are hardly ever noticed. Most of the traffic is enjoyed by those who rank within the “top ten.”

Here are a few pointers that may get you a ranking within 1-10:

1. Use relevant target key words for your pages. Ensure that the key words are more than two words long. Put yourself in the shoes of the surfer and list what the likely search terms will be which are relevant to the content.

2. Use keywords frequently through the page but with relevance. Higher placements are recommended. Ensure that target keywords are placed in the HTML title tag. Include target words in the titles. Write titles that capture interest and attention. These are what appear in search engine listings and only if they convey the content of the pages clearly will a user access the web page.

3. Every page must have a title tag, Meta keywords tag, and Meta description tag.

4. Use text navigation with great thought. It is advantageous to use keyword phrases as links. If text navigation is not possible then try and include footer on every page.

5. Avoid search engine stumbling blocks like image maps or frames. Construct your pages such that any search engine, old or new can read the pages. Create static pages and avoid symbols in the URLs.

6. Link analysis is used by important search engines in ranking algorithms. So, it is crucial to build solid links. Ensure that the links are relevant to your web content. Think quality not quantity. The secret is in approaching sites that are non-competitive and are ranked high by search engines.

7. Avoid spamming. It can get you banned. Fight the battle for supremacy by ethical means. Just ensure that your content is relevant and interesting, layout simple, and titles attractive and teasing.

8. To maximize efficiency submit more than one page manually. Make sure the pages are good representations of your site and its content.

9. Avoid automated programs for submission of pages. Submit manually and pay attention to any problems reported.

10. Prepare your goals with thought and care. Use a designer who is aware of online architectural design principles. Synchronize content, design, and navigation. Make it user and search engine friendly.

11. If you are in a hurry to get your website ranked then consider the option of using search engine marketing programs like PPC. In this case traffic is generated within days.

12. Use a link analysis report which will consider your competitors plan of action and prepare a recommendation report for you that is exclusive to your business module.

Search engine placement is the corner stone to success. It will not just ensure a good ranking but substantial increase in traffic and optimal business returns. As an astute business person or avid cyber techie you need to view the site in a rounded way and consider not just aspects of content and design but marketing strategies and cost effectiveness.

A Business Directory Just Isn't Enough Anymore!

A Business Directory Just Isn't Enough Anymore!
By: Martin Lemieux

Do you own a business directory? Are you having a tough time beating your competition? This article will help you towards leaving your competition far behind.

The idea here isn't about getting as many business directory listings as possible. The idea we need to create is about more community within your directory.

I always like using a "saying" I learned from network marketing: "I would rather utilize 1% of a hundred people's effort, then utilize 100% of my own to market my business." If you keep this in mind, there is nothing you can't be successful at.

With that in mind let me be quick to point out that, I am not talking about creating an affiliate program. Those come a dime a dozen and can be bought. What we need to do is create something larger than ourselves. I am talking about taking our directory and improving everything involving people.

GENERAL DIRECTORIES ONLINE:

For these types of directories, it gets a little harder to create a community people can relate to. This is only true simply because the more broad your audience/visitors are, the harder it is to target your resources.

Here are some ideas you can use for a general directory:

- Create a blog and use it to feature some new listings within your directory. Maybe even offer a review of some kind.

- Offer the ability to add a logo or image attached with the listing in order to personalize it more.

- Give people the ability to submit more information than most of your competing directories out there.

- Make sure to include a detailed search function.

- Create an online questionnaire on tips to improve the directory. Use these tips right away.

- Email everyone within your directory maybe once a month outlining all of the new listings posted online for that month.

- Make sure to have a "news" page so that visitors can see what's new.

I think you get the idea now. The whole point is, there is no limit as to how you can expand "around" your directory listings in order to increase the value of your directory online. The more you give back to people, the more they might tell their friends about your directory.

TARGETED TOPIC RELATED DIRECTORIES:

Whether your directory is targeting the local business community or you are targeting the international health community, having a directory that is more content specific will make it a lot easier to create a community based website.

Here are some ways to better your targeted directory:

- Create a forum detailing all of the topics within your directory so that people can discuss issues or tips within those categories. For ex. If you own a local business directory, create a forum to allow local business owners to discuss business related issues, hot commercial real estate properties, special deals on office equipment, etc.

- Create a news section that outlines some local news & events within your community. This will especially help to bring more local visitors to your directory and expose your listings further.

- Offer weather & traffic reports within local community directories.

- Add a feature page where you actually interview one directory member (maybe once a month). This will help people to get more familiar with the members of your directory and it will also help promote your directory. People who are submitting to your directory may only submit just for the chance to get interviewed about their service/product/expertise.

- Add a blog with your experiences related to the topics of your directory. This will help in two ways:

1) People will be able to relate to you and feel more connected with you.
2) People will begin to respect what you are doing and may tell more people about your directory since they are starting to feel that your directory is more people oriented instead of just simply getting the most listings in the world.

- Add related tips to the industry. The internet is full of reprint articles for your website. I am 99.9% sure you can find articles related to your industry. Maybe start a newsletter for members of your directory and send them tips on their industry. Who doesn't want to learn more about their industry!?

In Conclusion:

As you can see from above, by simply taking some ideas here, and implementing them within your directory, you will be well on your way towards creating a more community-based directory. This is very important these days as more and more directories like yours are popping up everywhere.

Let's not forget about search engines. They too are increasingly rewarding communities more than they are rewarding simple directories online. The more resources and content you add around your directory listings, the more valuable they become in the end and the more traffic you will get.

The more valuable your listings are, the more visitors will be willing to come back from time to time and possibly tell their friends about it. You never know what will make it or break it but, all we can do is try our best to increase the value of our increasingly popular online community.

What Is Viral Marketing and What Can It Do For Me?

What is Viral Marketing?

Use this thinking exercise: Which is better?

(1) $25,000 a day for 30 days or (2) 1 cent that doubles every day for 30 days

If you chose option 1 you might want to reconsider; the first option gives you $750,000 at the end of the month, the second gives you over 5 Million Dollars! (You do the math)

Viral marketing is a lot like gossip; it starts with one person and multiplies like wildfire throughout the whole neighborhood.

How does this happen? One person tells another person, that person, promising not to tell anyone, tells 5 more. Those 5 people each tell 5 other people, and this process continues until finally, everybody knows the rumour.

Viral marketing works exactly the same way. If you tell just 5 people about your website, and those 5 each tell 5 more, 5 becomes 25, becomes 125, becomes 625, becomes 3125, becomes 15625...

...and it keeps multipliying. Just like one cent will eventually turn into $5,000,000 if you double it for 30 days.

How to get Viral Marketing Working for you in 5 Minutes or Less for FREE!

With the Ultimate Traffic System, you can plug into a proven viral marketing system and generate thousands of guaranteed hits for free!

How it Works!

When a new member joins the Ultimate Traffic System they are first instructed to enter their name, email address, desired password and website.

Then they are automatically taken to a rotating page. The first page in the rotation will be the sponsor's website. After a short period of time you will be asked to click a next button. The next page will belong to the next person in your sponsor's upline. The page after that will be your sponsor's sponsor's upline, and so on. Each new page is another website in your sponsor's upline until it reaches seven levels.

When you're finished viewing all the pages, (this only takes a few minutes), you will be asked to click a button to confirm your membership. You will then be emailed your self-replicated website to promote to your visitors, with your memberID. (so we know that you're the sponsor)

Your website will start appearing on other member's websites as soon as someone is on your second level. It will continue to multiply throughout hundreds of other member's uplines as long as they keep referring new members themselves. You'll soon see a steady rise in your traffic which will increase every day.

Keep in mind, there is no way for people to cheat. Your position is 100% secure through our automated system.

Just like a rumour, your website will spread throughout the virtual neighborhood.

And, if you decide to change your URL at any time, new members will see it. This way you can promote hot new products to your well established UTS network!

Thank you,
Arlan Medicine

What is the Rich Jerk eBook and Why Should You Care?

How many schemes have you seen before that promise you millions made without a dime of investment or an hour of work?

Every time I see another internet scam or " look alike" I'm reminded of countless times fiends would invite me over to their house after work for some sort of gathering or "product party" These programs and the myriad of other "GET RICH QUICK" or "BE YOUR OWN BOSS" tactics just didn't work for me. It didn't for work any of my friends either.

What does hold promise is affiliate marketing. No phone calls, no downline, no pressure. There are some things to avoid though, and it helps to have some assistance when you are just starting out. For instance, you can buy a lot of pricey ebooks out there that attempt to cover the subject, I know I did!

All that happened was I bought too many ebooks, spent way too much money I did not have to waste and spent too much time reading them all to gather a minimum of useful information. I was led around in circles, never finding a clear path, and there was nobody available to answer my questions when I had them. It was like they were hinting at the secrets of "how to"! What's your experience been like?

The Rich Jerk has a book too, and I'll be the first to admit I was a hardened skeptic to all of this by the time I picked it up. Instead of repeating my prior experiences, here's what I found.

The Rich Jerk is NOT a bible....it's around 50 pages or so. It is a no fluff, full of powerful and proven useful tactics. I actually discovered it by accident, and almost did not give it a chance. I had been frustrated up to this point. What got me started had nothing to do with the ebook's guarantee, but the lack of sales glitz surrounding it. Sort of begged for attention. Plus it was short.

Surprisingly simple, I finished it quickly and was amazed it could be put into practical use without long hours of tedious labor. I already had a job like that! Many of the chapters held topics and hints that were new to me, not found in the gajillion pages I had stumbled through in the other ebooks. If only I'd read The Rich Jerk first ! I could have already been making lots of money!!

Naturally, I had to prove to myself that The Rich Jerk was as good as it seemed to be. I "baited" their email support, thinking I'd find their Achilles heel there! Not so. My "bait" consisted of 20 + thoughtful questions to reveal a weak customer support function. The old sell and run tactic you see everywhere in business today. It took only a couple days to receive several pages of well directed, clear answers that were very helpful!

I'm still on the learning curve of course, but that's to be expected with something worthwhile like this. The Rich Jerk contains basics like:
* Creating an affiliate website that directs meaningful traffic and really converts!
* Creative Search Engine Pay Per Click (PPC) Strategies
* Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Strategies
* Selling Your Own Informational Products
* Buying Wholesale and selling on Ebay

Some added pluses:
* Supplemental Information for beginners...for once there is attention and help when you need it most
* Personally Recommended Products and Services....a HUGE benefit because otherwise you have a huge amount of sifting to do alone.
* Low cost ideas and some free ones as well.....helped me get started with a small budget and limited time.

So I've just touched the tip of the iceberg. Do a deep dive, check it out yourself, because later the deep dive will be in your deep pockets! If you want to start an on line business, or improve the one you have going, I'd highly recommend The Rich Jerk.

What Is Private Label Rights and Why Do People Use It?

Since the existence of the Internet, business had been far better than before. This is because the Internet provides more effective means of distributing information about the products and the business all at the same time to the world in a matter of seconds.

For this reason, most businesses know that the large number of the online business will definitely increase the income-generating possibility of the business.

However, most online entrepreneurs assume that for an online business to grow and generate good income in the Internet, the business must have its own product. This is because everything is a sale, even the thoughts that you have in your mind could count as a product for sale when presented in the Internet for other people's use.

But opposing to most popular beliefs, having your own product does not limit you to the many possibilities of earning more by using a "license" that is attached with an "information product" that you may purchase online. These are known as Private Label Rights.

Private Label Rights is one of the three "basic rights" that are embodied in the concept of Resale Rights marketing. Among the three, Private Label Rights are considered as the most moneymaking and rewarding.

Private Label Rights are represented in a certificate or authorization that is attached with an "information item." The basics of Private Label Rights is to permit people to transform, reorganize, change, or improve the elements of the said merchandise to go well with the buyer's personal desires and yearnings.

For example, if you own a Private Label Rights, you are allowed to separate the contents of an ebook, and convince somebody to buy the contents as sequence of pieces of writing.

One of the greatest things about Private Label Rights is that you can actually do the same thing inversely. For instance, if you were able to buy a set of information products like a collection of articles embodied with Private Label Rights, you can easily bring them together without the risk of some law-related predicaments. Hence, you can collect different articles from different owners. With a common thought, you can come up with a creative masterpiece of information.

In addition, with Private Label Rights, you can simply customize the contents on the product to make it more meaningful and creative, therefore, creating an impression of having a product of your own.

Best of all, you can even put your name as the author of the product. This is the most rewarding aspect of having Private Label Rights. In this way, you do not have to acknowledge the primary author of the work.

So for those who are not yet aware of the rewards of using Private Label Rights, here is a list of some of the advantages:

1. It is just the thing for marking your name and your business' name.

You can easily acquire informative products that you can use as your own with Private Label Rights. This creates an impression that you are making your own product and that you are a professional and a skilled person on the given field. In turn, you get the trust that you need in order to compel them to buy your product.

2. It triggers creativity.

One of the best things about Private Label Rights is that you can be creative in a thousand and one ways. This is because you can pull together the different elements and come up with a new and near-original work without having any difficulty of creating such product.

3. Develop a product!

With Private Label Rights, you can simply customize or improve a product if ever it does not fit your taste or needs. In this way, you can both cut back wasteful time by looking for products that are totally worthless or save more money by avoiding to create a whole new product.

However, even if some people contend that it is totally unethical for a person to sell the Private Label Rights for his creations, one cannot simply surmise the fact that engaging into this kind of activity is also beneficial to the seller especially if the product is already nearing the closing stages of its "market life."

This goes to show that people must learn how to give way to any possible changes to any product that might have already lost its income-generating potential. By allowing other people to modify or enhance the features of certain products, the advancement of such products will continue to take place. And so, the cycle will go on.

Indeed, the basics of Private Label Rights are not just necessary for most of the Internet marketers who wish to earn more income aside from their own products but also for the whole market as well. This is because the whole system of a give and take relationship dwells in the business and that is exactly where income generates its power.

What Is An Internet Business Promoter?

An internet business promoter is a program that can help you attain higher page rankings on search engines. In other words, it is an application that will help you optimize for the search engines.

If you have been operating an internet business for any period of time, you know that optimizing for the search engines is one of your main tasks. For the obvious reasons, you want as many people to know about your site as possible. More people mean more business, more business means more profits.

Whenever potential visitors use search engines to find the sites they want, they will usually only visit the sites that rank the highest. If you are ranked number 112320 out of 237,899 results, you are out of luck; and pretty soon, out of business. Most visitors will not bother to look at a site ranked so low. An internet business promoter (IBP) can help you ameliorate this situation.

Internet business promoters offer a variety of features, which usually include the following:

Search engine optimization, ranking, and submission tools. Your main objective in using internet business promoters is to improve your rankings on the search engines, so obviously your IBP should include a set of tools geared towards this goal. IBP optimization programs analyze the current top search results for particular keywords on the search engines you select. After the analysis is complete, the application will generate a report that details the changes you have to make to achieve the same results. It is important that your IBP optimization program use up-to-date information for its analysis; it should preferably operate in real-time. A good IBP will allow you unlimited use in terms choosing keywords, checking rankings, and so forth. It should also allow you to analyze the various elements that comprise your site.

Online directory submission tools. IBP programs also allow you to automate or semi-automate various tasks, such as submitting your sites to online directories. Automatic submissions work in exactly the way you would submit your site, there is no appreciable difference except that you don’t personally have to do the work. By decreasing the amount of work that needs to be done, you will be able to increase the number of directories you actually enlist in. This in turn will help you generate more site traffic.

Miscellaneous applications. Most IBP’s also come bundled with various applications; usually those related to crafting reports. These reports are intended to be shown to your various clients. The reports are often fully customizable. You can alter the cover sheet, the title of the report, your business logo, the company name, the company’s address, your company URL, and the recipient's address.

By using an internet business promoter, you are assured of better ranking results. So why wait? Think of purchasing one today. It will be an investment that will more than pay for itself in the long run.

My favorite one is SEO Elite, you can have a look at it at http://must-have-products.com/SEOElite/seoelite1.php

What Is A Mini WebSite?

A mini website is a site which is devoted to selling one and only one product. Either software or an ebook. You have probably seen these sites all over the internet.

They consist of a one page sales letter and a thank you page.

The sales letter is packed full of information to tell your potential customer about all the benefits of the product you are offering. This page is usually quite long as it is your one opportunity to sell your product. The sales page will have all the reasons your customer needs the product you are selling. It will also tell what the product does or how it is used with examples to emphasize the fact that your customer can't do without it. Sometimes there will be some testimonials from satisfied customers and some bonuses for a prompt purchase. At the end of the page, the customer will have the opportunity to purchase the product with a command for them to order now!

Once they have made their purchase, they are sent to the thank you page which has the download link for their purchase. It is important to add the download link for the purchased product in a very prominent place near the top of the page. No one wants to search for the item they have already paid for.

This thank you page should be considered a second sales page.

The great thing about this thank-you page is that you know the people reading it will buy from you. They already have! It has been proven that once a person buys something from you, they are more likely to buy more products from you if you keep offering a good product at a good price. So while you have them there, you will offer another product that compliments the already purchased product. You can string a series of related mini sites together and get several sales from the same person all at once. Don't miss this opportunity to get another sale.

Your thank you page is a good place for you to offer a free gift or a unannounced bonus. All the visitor has to do to get your freebie is fill out a form with their name and email address. Almost everyone will take you up on the free offer and you have just collected their information to send them even more offers.

The thank-you page is also a great place to add your Google AdSense ads. After the customer has downloaded their purchased product, filled out the form for your free offer and looked at, and hopefully bought, the other offers you have available, they are still on your thank you page. Place your Google AdSense ads at the bottom of this page. The next logical choice for them is to click a Google Ad or close the window. Most people will click on an ad.

So you have your sale, their name and email address for future sales, possibly a second or third sale and a little extra cash from your Google ads.

The beauty of this whole operation is you don't have to be present to make sales or ship goods. It is all done electronically. Once you get traffic to your mini site, it will do all the work for you. It will sell the product, collect the money, 'ship' the item, make your second sales pitch, and collect the customer information. You make 100% profit from the sale.

You check your email every once in a while and find you have made more money!

Optimizing these mini sites for the search engines is a breeze. You only have one page to optimize. What could be easier?

PLUS... Nothing to join. You don't have to sign up for a bunch of affiliate programs and deal with wetting up the affiliate links. You own the products you are selling. You don't share your profits with anyone. 100% of the money from your sales goes right into your pocket!

Where do you get these mini websites?

You can create your own ebooks or software and sell them or you can buy resell rights products. When you buy a product that offers resell rights, you now have the right to sell this product and keep all the profits. Just like if you made the product yourself.
Once you have your product, you only have to write the sales page and the thank you page and you are in business.

The beauty in these Mini WebSites is that you can set them up, optimize them and then just let them work for you. It's like having a whole staff of sales people working for your 24 hours a day and you don't even have to pay them.

What if You Have Too Many Brands?

Copyright 2006 Suzanne Falter-Barns

We recently got this query from a reader, T. T. "Mitch" Mitchell:

“… You mention that if a person provides more than one type of product or service they should have an additional website. However, if you're trying to brand your name or your business name, aren't you going to dilute the process by having an additional website for it?”

That’s a question I get a lot. What do you do if you have more than one brand?

Well, I have several – Get Known Now, howmuchjoy.com, Blog Your Way to a Bestseller, and Licensing Revenue Secrets. And actually, it was only in the past few months that I could seriously see how and why I should have more than one brand. Because, like Mitch I once thought having more than one brand was a problem.

In fact, having more than one brand can be good for business.

It all boils down to life purpose. Each brand needs to be assessed in terms of how it fits into your master plan. Does it serve an integral part or is it just a gratuitous addition that is kind of fun but doesn’t seriously move the ball forward?

Ideally, your brands should intersect right at the point of your ‘Soul Purpose’. Do they all support one common goal? They may simply be different ways to support that bigger, overriding vision for your company. And cumulatively, they add up to a much bigger Web presence, which is always good.

In other words, I connect with life coaches who want tools for creative breakthroughs over at How Much Joy. But then they and their clients get to the point where they really need to get known for this dream work they’re creating. So they get directed to my Get Known Now site for this kind of marketing help. The other brands give them specific tools to use to that end.

See how it all fits together?

Are you confused about your varying brands? Here is a specific list of guidelines you can use.

If any of your brands don’t fit the following criteria, be brave and consider abandoning them. It will only strengthen your more targeted, focused work.

Do they all serve the same audience? Critical for efficiency … and serving your purpose. There’s a little give for slightly differing audiences here. For instance, Get Known Now is more likely to attract small business owners than How Much Joy. But they both serve speakers, authors and coaches.

Is there a logical sequence or relationship among the brands? With mine, people move from general dream-creating, joy work towards leading joy workshops. Then they need publicity and branding, so Get Known Now steps in to serve them.

Are the sub-brands clearly identified with the ‘big’ brand? For instance, I recently re-branded the blog associated with my Get Known Now site as …. The Get Known Now Blog! Boring? Possibly. But still far more clear. And whenever someone drops in, they are more likely to remember my brand, tell others about it, etc.. Go ahead. Be boring. Keep on restating your brand in all of your related products. I have the Get Known Now home study course, Get Known Now Blast Off group coaching, even soon a Get Known Now Unplugged podcast. (If you want to live a little, you can throw in additional qualifying words like ‘Blast Off’, for instance.)

Does the brand solve a problem that your target market has? Seems like a simple question – but it’s deceptive. Be tough with yourself and your business here. And get some outside feedback from a coach or friend if you’re not sure. Does the brand serve your purpose … honestly and truly? Think hard, because Soul Purposes tend to be broad and general. (I define them as that service or gift you’re meant to give to other people, not a specific task, like writing or coaching.) Does the brand still excite you? I’m not talking about the set of words here, but the larger job of the brand. Is it still alive for you? Sometimes we lug along a brand for years without acknowledging that its usefulness has ended. It’s really OK to abandon brands that no longer work for you; think of them as having served their purpose. Then let them go and move on. Think about your brands … even write them all down and re-evaluate them one more time. Then I invite you to take anything off of your plate that simply no longer fits the scheme of what you’re up to.

Oh yes … and did I mention you’ll probably have lots of brands in life? Go forth and conquer!

What Do You Know About Web Marketing?

Have you ever considered starting your own business? Maybe you've always wanted a chain of hotels, or a chance to open your very own restaurant. Why not.

Maybe that coffee shop idea you had back in the 80s wasn't such a bad concept after all. Regardless of your hopes and aspirations, it's certainly easier to make them happen in this day and age. So many people look to start their own business; whether it be a cafe downtown or a home-based operation. With the World-Wide-Web at our fingertips, we can make these dreams a reality. That is why a number of individuals have begun their own web-stores and money-making sites. It's all about the web marketing. Are you Internet savvy?

What do you know about web marketing? This is pretty much one of the largest operations these days. With cyberspace comes infinite traffic. It's basically never ending and almost impossible to fathom. You have to remember there are around 6 billion people world-wide. Now, how many of those people do you think access the Internet on a daily basis? Let me save you the math; it's a ton. This is why home businesses are booming. That kind of customer access is incomparable. Imagine the local marketing of a particular product in comparison to web marketing. You would have to compare the global population to that of your own town. It's certainly not difficult to see why the Internet is such a money-maker. In fact, loads of web-savvy business folk are taking prime advantage of all this cyberspace traffic. All you need are your own web pages, which are rather simple to construct now days. Use basic web marketing to increase traffic on your websites, hence increasing your profit. Web traffic equals revenue. Just ask the person who started Google.com.

The great thing about web marketing is the cost efficiency compared to offline marketing. While in the tangible world we have to print flyers and create advertisements to entice customers and increase business, in cyberspace it's much simpler. Shoot an ad out to a million people at once with the click of a mouse. With advanced web marketing, you can get the job done much faster and appeal to a much larger cliental. Is your personal business getting the traffic and response that it should? If not, it may be time to delve back into cyberspace and learn more about web marketing.

What are you prepared to risk to optimise your chances of internet success?

Copyright 2006 John Beavis

Everybody's got something to lose with any risk they ever take. Equally, everybody who is prepared to risk something stands to gain so much. Life's a gamble and there's little that's predictable or certain. That's what makes it so exciting!

So why do so many internet entrepreneurs risk so little and seem to be so satisfied with such scant rewards? Especially when you consider that there is a mountain of opportunity out there. And it is there, all over the world, sitting right at the end of your fingertips.

Want some of it? Of course you do - who wouldn't?

So why are you still doing what everybody else seems to want to do? You're risking nothing simply by copying others. Whether it's their copy, layout, graphic styling, headlining, offers and even typeface - it's very likely that by following others, you're just buying into their mistakes.

Why not do what those powerful ads command and: "challenge everything"?

Headlines

Whoever said it was a good idea to pan people over the head with "Secret this", "Discover that", "Unlock, unleash, un-whatever"! I got bored just writing that, let alone trying to read any of it. Scorn, derision and spades of scepticism are not the results you're after!

And 36 point, 36 word headlines? Whose idea was that? On many websites I visit, you get half the headline, in your face, in an unreadable type size all spouting pretty much the same unhinged hyperbole. Say goodbye - there goes your client, off to find somewhere sane and inviting!

Take a risk. Pare the headline down to 6-10 words that challenge the reader, wrap your arm round their shoulder and invite them into the body copy. They're banging on your door. Now bring them in for the sale!

Layout

Look out, there's a good layout about! Trouble is, you've got to trawl through some awful rubbish to find it! So many layouts that I see are so confusing! Offers here, offers there, bonus here, bonus there, affiliate offers, early bird offers, totally unconnected adverts - it's a visual explosion of bewildering befuddlement!

Why do it? "Everyone else seems to do it!" Every year, Bill Gates and lots of other hugely successful entrepreneurs give away billions of dollars to charity, ... and I don't see everyone else doing that, do you?

Take a risk. Break the mould. Do it, differently, but just make sure you do it brilliantly well. By that I mean do it cleverly and simply. Walk the reader through your store. Show them everything. Tantalise, intrigue, excite, entice and lead them gently and persuasively to doing just what you want them to do - buy, subscribe, enlist, enrol - it's your call, but it's their choice and, remember, it's also their money.

Offers

A wise old gentleman once told me that you should never give away your product or service - and don't discount it either! He was a marketing guru, worth millions and I guess he never gave anything away, except that he gave me a chance to become a copywriter for his company. For that, I've been grateful ever since.

But apart from the quality of your list of customers (absolutely vital), the offer you make is the single most important element you have to play with.

Take a risk. Use it to your advantage. There are truckloads of books out there about successful internet entrepreneurs who pitched a brave offer to their eager audience. They gave something away, for free, and yes - it was the crown jewels!

Why? Well, they knew that once a customer bought into the buying cycle, they would be hooked ... and ready for more, usually at a much higher price - provided that the product delivered all of the promise it had made.

Net effect? The customer got a smashing freebie, told their friends, blogged it and viral methods substantially increased the entrepreneur's customer list ... with people who were hungry, eager and waiting for the offer. Instead of sticking out for just one sale that may or may not come, the entrepreneur took a big risk and not only doubled, trebled or even quadrupled their earnings - their profits soared through the roof and put their businesses on a stellar footing with virtually an iron grip on the future.

"Challenge everything"

Risk requires that you "challenge everything". Do it differently and you begin to make the world work the way you want it to and the bottom line read the way that you think it should.

It isn't difficult and we all remember the story of the Pied Piper. All the children disappeared, except the one that was different. I don't know how that good old story ended, but the child that was left probably grew up to become a hugely successful online entrepreneur ... and made himself a couple of fortunes!

What are Timeshares?

It worked well, and the idea spread throughout the world.1

There are two main types of timesharing plans: deeded and non-deeded. With the deeded type, you buy an ownership interest in a piece of real estate. In the non-deeded plan, you buy a lease, license, or club membership that lets you use the property for a specific amount of time each year for a stated number of years. With both types, the cost of the unit is proportionate to the season and the length of time you want to buy.2

Before You Buy

As with any major purchase, you need to understand what you are getting before you sign any papers or pay any fees. The general information should be accompanied by careful analysis and perhaps even professional advice that concerns all aspects of a particular timeshare purchase.

Before purchasing a timeshare consider the following points.3

* A major reason people buy timeshares is for the convenience of having prearranged vacation facilities. Therefore it would be wise to determine whether you will be able to use the timeshare facility regularly. When evaluating a timeshare with units in several locations, consider whether sufficient units are available at the sites you prefer at the time you want to use them.
* Question any investment claims made by the seller. The future value of a timeshare depends on many factors. Resale of timeshares is almost impossible.4 So, if you are considering buying a timeshare, do it, realizing that you will probably not be able to resell it; and, even if you are able to sell, you probably won’t be able to sell it for anything close to your original purchase price. Closing costs, broker commissions, and financing charges also must be considered as part of the investment costs.
* The total cost of a timeshare includes mortgage payments and expenses, such as travel costs and annual maintenance fees. The annual maintenance fees usually rise to equal or exceed inflation and could add hundreds of dollars to the purchase price. To help evaluate the purchase, compare the total timeshare costs with rental costs for similar accommodations and amenities for the same time in the same location.
* Do not act on impulse or under pressure. Review all documents or have someone familiar with timesharing review them before you make a purchase. Do not be pressured into making a purchase without having a couple of days to think about it. Find out if the contract provides a cooling-off period during which you can cancel the contract and get a refund.
* Be sure everything the salesperson promised orally is written in the contract.
* Remember that exchange programs, which offer the opportunity to arrange trades with other resort units in different locations, cannot be guaranteed. When you trade your timeshare unit for another, expect one of approximately the same value.
* Many timeshare sellers offer gifts to potential buyers who will listen to a timeshare sales presentation. Consider the value of these gifts or prizes. Most are of little value.5 It would be to your advantage to attend a sales presentation only if you are interested in the program.
* Your timeshare will be a good place to vacation only if it is run properly. Therefore you should consider researching with local real estate agents, Better Business Bureau, and consumer protection offices, the track record of the seller, developer, and management company before you make your purchase.
* If you are considering buying a timeshare on property where the facilities have not been completed, get a written commitment from the sellers that the facilities will be finished as promised, and require that a certain amount of your money be held in escrow.6
* Find out what your rights are if the builder or management company has financial problems or in some way defaults. Make sure that your contract has both non-disturbance and nonperformance clauses. A non-disturbance clause ensures that you will continue to have use of your timeshare unit in the event of default and subsequent third party claims against the developer or management firm. A nonperformance clause allows you to keep all your ownership rights even if a third party is required to buy out your contract.
* If you have any questions or complaints regarding timeshares or a timeshare that you have purchased, contact the Real Estate Commission of the state in which the timeshare property is located, as well as the Correspondence Branch, Federal Trade Commission, Washington, DC 20580.

How Timeshare Resale Scams Operate

If you already own a timeshare, be cautious about people who offer to help you resell the timeshare for a fee. Because many of these types are rip-offs, be careful to deal only with legitimate sales companies. Companies that use questionable resale practices operate like many other telemarketing scams. You might be contacted by a telephone salesperson or through a postcard, asking you to call a particular telephone number about selling your timeshare. The salespeople are likely to tell you that the market for resale of timeshares is “hot” and that their company has a high success rate in reselling these units. They may even claim that they have extensive lists of sales agents and potential buyers for timeshares and for an advance fee of hundreds of dollars these salespeople promise to sell your timeshare for a price equal to or greater than the amount you originally paid.7

The market for resale is actually extremely poor, because there is no secondary market for timeshares.8 Currently American consumers own 1.5 million timeshares. Approximately 870,000 of these are presently available for resale, with 845,000 for sale far below the original purchase price. In truth, over the past 20 years, only 3 percent of owners who have wanted to sell their timeshares have been successful, and the vast majority of those have had to sell below their original purchase price. So, it is highly unlikely that a company can sell the timeshare at all, let alone for the original purchase price.

There are some precautions to consider if you decide that you want to resell your timeshare and are approached by a resale company. (1) Do not agree to anything over the telephone. (2) Ask the salesperson to send you written materials to study. (3) Ask for company references of customers who have used their services. (4) Ask where the company is located and in what states it does business. (5) Ask if the company’s salespeople are licensed to sell real estate by the state where your timeshare is located, and check with the state licensing board to verify the information. (6) Be cautious of any company charging an advance “listing” fee for its service.9

Conclusion

Timesharing is not an investment product and is not intended as a way of making money. It is, though, a financial commitment to your leisure enjoyment. So, how much is leisure and preplanned vacation time worth to you? This is the question that must be asked before you decide to buy a timeshare. If it is not worth thousands of dollars in initial investment, plus hundreds more in maintenance fees, then you should probably stay away from timeshare promotions. But if, on the other hand, you enjoy preplanned vacations and realize that timeshare is not a money making investment, then it may be a good choice for you.

Websites are pretty necessary

Dear Friend,

After surfing the internet, I came across an interesting article that everyone should read. Websites seem pretty hard core to some people which is why they don't even take the time to try to learn how to create them or even learn about them. Websites are crucial to maximizing your money if you are selling information on the internet. Some people advertise that you don't need to have a website in order to make money. In a way, these individuals are right, but at the same time are wrong. People claim that creating a website is too hard, waste of energy, and once again extremely difficult! This isn't entirely true, because if you take the time to learn how to do it then ultimately you'll know how to do it. You just need to be guided by the right information and take the time to learn the concepts. You shouldn't be fooled with people trying to persuade you to think that websites aren't necessary. It would be a shame for you to miss out on the opportunity for maximizing your money by simply having a website. You might be wondering why are there people that convince people to believe the unimportance of having your own website. Well, it's simple some people just don't know how to properly create a website which makes the task seem hard. These individuals would rather emphasize that websites are hard and a waste of time. However, in order to be able to maximize your money you should ingrain the idea of having your very own website is the way to go. This article was fascinated as you can probably tell already. It taught be the importance of a website and much more techniques that will certainly benefit me in the future. I hope you take the opportunity to simply read and appreciate this article as I did!

Good Luck! Thank you, Stephanie Martinez

Website Resolutions

As all of us view the new year, we determine various ways to improve ourselves. Whether its eliminating bad habits, or improving quality of life, January 1st is seen as a new beginning and starting point. Your website too, can use a new look. Consider taking the website to task with these down and dirty quick improvement tips for the new year.

New Year's Resolutions for Your Website
Revamp your website. The Internet is evolving at a rapid pace, and websites need constant maintenance and occasional overhauls. As the search engines improve their algorithms, website copy and designs will need to be updated. Here are some starting points:

Remove Bad Outgoing Links
It is important that you are not linking to bad neighbors. Broken links give an unprofessional image and wastes a site visitor. Be sure that all outgoing site links are still valid, and even more importantly, go where you had initially intended. Many popular websites are sold by companies with questionable content. Remove any changed links so that you are not associated with content that is not relevant to your products, service or content.

Unique Titles
Confirm each webpage on your website contains a unique title tag. Not only do unique titles allow you to optimize different sections of your site for different keywords and phrases, but also helps search engines direct traffic to specific pages on your site when specialized keywords are used.

Optimize Graphics
Optimize website graphics to decrease the website's load time. A typical web surfer will only remain on a page for a few seconds. If you do not grab their attention, you will lose them. Shaving size off of a websites graphic elements will mean that their eyes are on your website during those critical seconds.

Update Copyright Notice
A copyright notice should reflect the year the last updates were made to the website. A current copyright notice tells visitors that the content is fresh, not stale and outdated.

Clean up HTML
HTML is a markup language and with constant maintenance it is easy to have a page with an unclosed tag. While some web browsers make allowances for poorly formed HTML, not all do. Therefore, it is important that you take a look at the HTML behind the web page and make sure that it is properly formed.

Update Meta Tags
Update and optimize meta tags to avoid excessive use of keywords. While a once popular search engine optimization technique, stuffed meta tags generally result in search engine penalties. Update meta tags to be accurate and concise without redundancy and recurring words.

Automate
If your site does not currently use templates or server-side includes, it is time to bite the bullet. Spending time now, by employing server side includes or templates will mean easier maintenance and updates later. When you change one item, it will update on all pages of your site.

Links
Increase the quality and quantity of inbound links. Links coming into your site should be from websites that contain related or relevant content. Links from related .edu and .org domains are considered of a higher value than generic links. Any outbound links, should be directed to credible websites that contain related content. The relationship and relevance of links is becoming increasingly more important in most of the search engine ranking algorithms.

Wrapped Content
Links that are embedded in a paragraph rather than a free standing, generally are viewed more favorably by search engines. Consider wrapping links in content summaries.

Size Matters
A website must contain enough relevant content to stand on its own. Obviously the more the better. However, its not just about quantity it is also about quality. While size matters, relevance is equally important. A website should be able to stand on its own, once affiliate links, and pay per click advertising is removed the site should still have value.

Aged Domains
They say with age comes wisdom. Apparently the Search Engine Gods feel the same about domains. The older the domain the better it will typically perform. Give new domains time to age.

A New Years resolution is just a fancy way of saying that you are committed to doing something. Resolve to improve your website this year.

Website Promotion Strategies To Boost Your Internet Marketing Business.

The success of an Internet Marketing Website depends to a great extent on the targeted traffic the website is able to generate. This is where the Website Promotion Strategies adopted by the webmasters play a very significant role in boosting their sales and popularity. The consequences of neglecting these website promotion strategies means only one thing. You loose to your internet marketing competitor.

The more number of website visitors you are able to attract by promoting your website, the more chances you have of benefiting from their visit. Promoting your website methodically and systematically over a period of time by following the 7 Website Promotion Strategies enumerated below will help you build a substantial following of loyal visitors and customers you have been longing for.

1. Grab users when they are looking out for Topics and Products:

The internet is chock-a-block of people searching for topics or products. If your website is most relevant to what they are searching for, and has very useful, valuable and unique content then they will find you. A constant review and updating your website is absolutely necessary to keep your website visitors interested in your site.

2. Emails:

Emails are considered to be the most effective way to get repeat visitors to your website and also get new customers. This can be done by having a newsletter and organizing an opt-in list.

3. Getting users and visitors to Promote your Website:

A way to get your users and website visitors to promote your site is to get them involved. This can be done in two ways. One is to provide a “tell a friend” image in your site and request them to email a friend if they liked you website or product.

The other way is to obtain referrals from your users or clients. Referrals are one of the best Website promotion strategies adapted by top marketers.

4. Getting visitors to "Bookmark".

Encourage visitors to add your website to their "Favorite" list or "Bookmark" your site, thereby creating opportunities for return visits.

5. Taking Immediate Action:

Another strategy to adopt is to encourage your website visitors to take immediate action by "clicking" or "requesting" when the information in the ad. or email is fresh in their minds.

6. Avoid Graphics and Delayed Actions:

When users appear on your website and click on something, they should know what they are in for. Vague section heads, only add confusion and desperation in the minds of the user. Always be very clear when naming section heads and other links. Also avoid having too many graphics.

7. Freebies and Special Promotions:

Giving away freebies and other special promotions whereby your website visitors could benefit financially are additional website promotion strategies you can adopt.

Most successful internet marketing webmasters adopt these website promotion strategies. They are of course done in a very subtle manner. Why not adopt these same website promotion strategies for your websites too and reap the benefits.

Website Marketing Strategies - Reciprocal Links

Although it's very old, another good website marketing strategy is building reciprocal links for your site. Let's say that you've managed to build a site where you have great content, great tools or both. All you need now is people to find out about it.

Increasing your link popularity with reciprocal links will help your site to go up in the search engines. Although this kind of links are not so powerful anymore they can still give you some results. Besides the search engine rankings you will also receive direct traffic from the site you are linked with.

The link exchange process is not a hard one but it has it's secrets and tricks. There are many factors and things to avoid that have to be taken in consideration. You have to know how to convince a webmaster to trade links with you, what sites to avoid and what sites to link with.

The first thing that you need to know is what is a reciprocal link. A reciprocal link is some kind of agreement between two webmasters. Both of them place on their site a link that points to the other one's website. This is some kind of win-win situation because both websites benefit form this linking, receiving direct traffic and increasing link popularity.

This website marketing strategy also involves a little trust. You can make links exchange with many sites but you don't have the time to frequently monitor them. So you'll just have to trust that the other webmaster will keep your link on his site. This situation could become really frustrating when you see that you still keep a link for a website but you're not receiving one back.

Don't think about this website marketing strategy as a quick scheme to get tons of traffic. I can ensure you that is not like that. There are many sites that have thousands of banners on them, but only half of them really work. Try to link your site with related and confident websites. This way you will also avoid linking to any bad neighborhoods.

In conclusion, even if the reciprocal links are an old website marketing strategy comparing to the new and powerful one way links they still can bring you some results. Just try to make your links exchanges as safe as possible.

Website Marketing Strategies - Paid Links

We talked in some previous articles about some free website marketing strategies. Well, there are also the paid links. This kind of links are suitable for large corporate companies sites that can afford purchasing links. This method is great for webmasters that have a good budget and don't want to make any link exchange or to build one way links.

If you are wondering why is this website marketing strategy still good than i can give you some reasons.

First of all let's say that you've spent some good money on developing a great site, with great looks, content and products. Now all you need are the visitors. If you don't have many good links than you won't receive any direct traffic and you won't have good search engine positions. So you'll end up with an expensive site that has no visitors.

Buying links on sites that are related to your's can boost your site really fast. There are many link broker sites on the net that can help you find what you are looking for. Any site that is already known, is old and successful can help a new one to get started. You'll just have to poses the right money because almost no one will help you for free.

The best way to approach this website marketing strategy is to temporary improve your link popularity with paid links. After your site has some links pointing to it, some good search engine results on some keywords, a little pagerank than it will be a lot easier for you to use other free website marketing strategies like reciprocal links. Although page rank is a small factor in the search engine rankings on google results, many webmasters are not too educated and all they look for is pagerank. So many sites that have a high page rank will refuse to swap links with a site of a much lower page rank. That's way you should get some paid links at the start to bring you some pagerank. After you're site is powerful enough you can get rid of the paid links.

The bad part about this links is that they can get really expensive. So if you still don't want to start with the free, successful and quite easy methods, you should have a big budget.

You can choose from many website marketing strategies. If you are a bit lazy and you have deep pockets paid links are a great alternative too.

Website Marketing Strategies - One Way Links Vs. Reciprocal Links

The rankings that your site has in the major search engine's results, are the most important factor for the number of visitors you have every day. The good thing is that you can modify your search engine positioning with some seo methods. First of all you should know that link popularity is one of the most important issues in the ranking system. So basically if you increase the link popularity your site's rankings should improve.

But, unfortunately things aren't so simple. It doesn't mean that the one who has the biggest number of links pointing to his site will be the first shown in the search engine's results. In time, search engines have changed their algorithms, and now the nature of the links is very important.

If you want increase your link popularity there are three types of links to choose from: one way links, reciprocal links and three way links. The most effective of them are one way links and reciprocal links. I will try to make a little comparation between those two and show you some advantages and disadvantages.

The website marketing strategy based on reciprocal links was very powerful in the past when only the number of links counted in the search engine's eyes. But now if you don't make your link exchange wisely you won't see any results. You have too look for sites that are related to yours and ask the webmasters to place a link to your site. In exchange for that you'll have to place a link to his site on your pages too. This could be tricky because if you are not careful you could link to some sites that are not quite legit and you could get your site banned in the major search engines. Also, if you make many link exchanges you'll never have the time to check them all to see if they are in order. So you might find yourself in a situation when you are keeping a link on your site and the other webmaster is not. This can be very frustrating.

The things are different when it comes to one way links. Because of the abusive use of reciprocal links in the past, one way links have the power now. The biggest advantage of one way links is that you don't have to link back to anything. This way you are avoiding linking to bad neighborhoods. One way links are also more longevive than reciprocal links. There are also many good and free methods to achieve this kind of links. The best one is writing great optimized articles related to your sites topic and distributing them over the net for reprinting. You can also ask webmasters to put a one way link on your site. Having great content or tools on your site will also bring you natural one way links because webmasters will link to you to offer great services to their visitors. You can also leave testimonials for products that you used or participate in very popular forums.

I can tell you from my experience that one way links are the best links that you can get on the net this times. Although reciprocal links are a bit old they still can get you some results. Both of this website marketing strategies can bring you visitors and great search engines positioning. Choose wisely!

One of the best website marketing strategy is having great search engine positions in all major search engines. Every webmaster's goal is to have thousands of visitors every day. And the best way to receive targeted traffic is trough search engines. Today, it's well known that link popularity is a very important factor in achieving good positions. So any webmaster that has a site, want's as many inbound links as it's possible.

There are two kind of inbound links: one way links and reciprocal links. In this article I will try to show you some advantages of one way links and some good tested methods to get them.

First of all you should know that any link that points to a website is like a vote from the search engine's point of view.

1. The best method to get many optimized one way links is to write great articles and submit them to article directories. You'll just have to place a link to your site in the end of the article or in the resource box. The great thing about this article based one way links is that they all come from only content pages. The article will be related to your site and it will contain your desired keywords. Increasing your link popularity with this powerful links will give your site great search engine positioning and also lots of targeted visitors. This website marketing strategy will bring you amazing results.

2. Writing articles is the easy way to get one way links. The more difficult way to achieve them is to ask for them over the net. You can spend some time looking for sites that are related to yours and sending an email to the webmasters. If you can convince them that their visitors could be interested in what you have on your site than the webmaster will place link on his site. This method could be really time consuming but it can bring you quite good results.

3. If you have great content on your site or a useful tool webmasters will link to you to offer their visitors new information and utilities.

4. Another method would be writing testimonials for services that you used. If you used a product, read a book, you can send a testimonial to the website owner and place a link to your site in the end. This method is quite useful because it will bring you lots of traffic. The visitors that are interested in buying the product usually want to know more about the person that left the testimonial.

Website Marketing Strategies - Increasing Your Link Popularity

In this days search engine rankings have become one of the most important issues for a website. Because of that the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN frequently update their algorithms in order to deliver best results to their users. The most important factor in a search engine's ranking algorithm is link popularity.

Link popularity is defined as the number of links that point to a site. The search engines consider this links as some kind of votes in the sites favor. Some time ago it didn't matter what kind of links pointed to your site. So every webmaster linked their sites to any other site not considering it's nature. Link exchange was the best website marketing strategies in those times. But now, the search engines updated their algos and they investigate every "vote".

Link popularity remains a major factor in the search engine's way of ranking but what's more important this days is the quality of the links. When the search engine spider crawls, it investigates all the incoming links to see if they are good "votes" or bad "votes". When everybody was making reciprocal links only the number was important. But this reciprocal links are not so powerful any more because search engines are looking for links on related sites with related content that are not placed their just for receiving a link back. The spider wants to find out if that link is placed there because of the quality of the site is pointing to.

So increasing your link popularity is still the best website marketing strategy but try to get only good links from related sites. This way you'll benefit from the direct targeted traffic and you'll have good search engine positioning too.

There are many ways to get quality links. The best would be acquiring one way links. If the inbound links are one way then the search engine will know from the beginning that the links are not a result of an agreement between two webmasters. You can achieve one way links by writing good articles and distribute them for reprinting over the net, having great content on your site, writing testimonials for products that you used or even purchasing them. Reciprocal links are still good but try to trade your links only with sites with similar topics and trust worthy sites.

In conclusion increasing your link popularity with good legit links will boost your site's traffic in no time.

Website Marketing Strategies - Article Based One Way Links

One way links are the most powerful links at this time. Link popularity dramatically affects the search engine rankings of a site. And now almost all webmasters prefer one way links instead of reciprocal links. They are just seen better by the search engines algorithms.

Webmasters have developed many methods to achieve good one way links. You can write good articles related to your site and submit them to articles directories. You can also submit your site to site directories, write testimonials for products, services or tools that you used. When you write a testimonial you'll just have to place a link to your site in the end of it.

The best method to get one way links that I've seen so far, is trough article distribution. I call this links optimized one way links. I will try to explain to you how to use this method.

First of all you should posses a site with great content or products. After that, you write an article related to your site's topic. If you don't have any writing skills than don't worry, put someone else to do it. There are many sites on the net that offer similar services: they write the article, they submit it to article directories, they gather the links and send them to you at some reasonable prices.

The great thing about this website marketing strategy is that this links are really optimized for your desired keywords. When you write your article try to use your keyword in the tile, content, anchor text and around the link. So this links will come from only content pages related to yours having your desired keyword all over. This has a great weight for the search engines.

Another advantage of this website marketing strategy is that after you publish the article it will start to multiply. Webmasters looking for content will take the article and place it on their site including the resource box with your link in it. So if the article is good you have the chance to make many natural one way links with no effort.

Choosing this website marketing strategy will bring you great results. It's a tested method that will bring you many targeted traffic and great search engine positions.

Website Marketing: Attract More Clients From A Wake-Em-Up Special Offer

You’re a service business, such as a coach, accountant, consultant, speech coach, office organizer or virtual assistant.

A prospective client lands on your website. “Nice site,” she says, nodding approvingly. “Great logo.”

So she looks for a Call to Action: "Click here and get a Free Report."

And you offer one. 101 things a coach [accountant, consultant, speech coach, office organizer or virtual assistant] can do for you.

Yawn.

At that point, your prospect decides to leave. Unless she’s been living on another planet, she has some idea of what you do (or thinks she does).

If you’re an accountant, she won’t be astounded to discover you’ll prepare her taxes. If you’re a virtual assistant, she’ll expect you to help with mailing lists and phone calls.

And she’s been to 43 other websites. She’s already seen the same list. Her eyes start to glaze over. She decides it’s time to take a break and watch the latest replay of The Sopranos.

At least that’s what I would do.

How can you prevent the bleary-eyed visitor blues?

(1) Create a problem-solving Call for Action – before you design the rest of your web site. “How-to” titles work best because you demonstrate that you understand the problem and showcase your unique approach.

A Virtual Assistant: “How to delegate the 10 most critical tasks that keep your business alive and profitable.”

A speech coach: “Five techniques that tell your audience you're a professional speaker"

An office organizer: “It’s 9 AM – do you know where your Top Priority is?”

(2) Make it easier for prospects to figure out why you’re different from the competition on the other 43 websites your prospect just visited.

A hairstylist: “Curly hair is my specialty (and we're never late with appointments)."

A virtual assistant: "I can program the Internet's top shopping cart system to save you 5 hours each month."

A speech coach: "Five clients I coached last year are now listed with speaker bureaus."

(3) Identify benefits your prospect may not have anticipated.

For instance, prospective clients may not realize that some office organizers can help them choose furniture to make their lives easier. Others employ feng shui principles.

Bottom Line: Visitors who see a big grab-bag list of offers will tune out if they recognize the first few. “Ho hum. I know that.”

Instead, find ways to showcase yourself and your expertise --professionally. Your visitors will thank you.

Why Most People Fail In MLM Business

Copyright 2006 Pawel Reszka

Multi Level Marketing businesses are being launched almost everyday on the internet. People join MLM because they want to make money by sponsoring other people into the business and that’s how the MLM idea works. Some of them become very successful with it, but almost 90% of them will fail and never make their investment back. MLM companies can be very profitable if they have a good quality product behind it. If you are a good marketer and know how to sell yourself you could earn substantial income using the power of MLM. Let’s go over some of the reasons why people fail after joining an MLM business opportunity. In my opinion the failure is being caused by not having enough experience in marketing, low advertising budget, and lack of patience.

Not having enough experience is one of the major reasons why a person will never make any money with a MLM company. For example, John got introduced to this new hot product that his friend is selling. John likes it a lot and finds out that he could resell the product also and make some extra income. So his friend decides to enroll him and now John is a proud owner of his own business. John is very excited about the whole idea and starts going over the material provided by the company he joined. Two days later John still hasn’t made a sale nor enrolled another distributor. John has no idea about marketing or how to get the word out to other people that would possibly be interested in John’s opportunity. Two weeks go by and he still hasn’t sold any of his products, but he must keep ordering from the company to stay in the business. John starts feeling overwhelmed with bills and decides to give up. If you want to be successful with MLM, you must do some good market research before you join. You should also create your own strategy on how you are going to market yourself and your product. You must listen to experts in the business and learn from them, their tactics, and techniques. Create your own game plan before you spend your hard earned money.

Next reason why people fail is not having enough money or none at all to advertise their opportunity. These days you must be able to come up with some advertising budget to do business online. If you think that by joining an MLM opportunity the money will just start coming into your pocket then you are very wrong. If you have a very tide budget and you can barely make it from one month to another then please do not join any MLM companies. In that case you should try something else that doesn’t require you to make an investment of more than $50. MLM companies usually require a monthly fee to stay in the business which ensures that people who sponsored you make commissions. Before you decide to join an MLM opportunity please go carefully over your budget and see if you can afford it. You always need to know your matrix and calculate if you can actually make money before next month’s bills are in your mailbox.

Another reason why some people fail in the multi level marketing business is lack of patience. I know from experience that people want to start making money fast with any business opportunity they join. The fact is that it takes time to build your MLM business. That is why having enough money is so important to succeed. You will probably loose money your first month after your advertising expenses. Once your business gains momentum, which could happen after a few months, you will be on the right track to MLM profits. Learn how to be patient, and try not to get discouraged. The profit will come if you just stick with one thing and keep doing it till you are satisfied. Never try to join two multi level marketing companies at the same time unless, you really have the resources to handle it. I know people that run some successful website with tons of traffic everyday. This allows them to join multiple companies and succeed. Knowing your matrix is very important factor and you should always consider your own possibilities.

As you can see there are some very important things you must take into consideration before you join an MLM company. Multi level marketers can make a lot of money once their business starts growing by itself. Once you get to that point you will be ready to start another venture and that’s how millionaires are being made on the internet. If you don’t have enough experience, patience or enough money in your advertising budget, then think twice before you spend your money. Also do some research on the company to see if they are legal or if their product has good quality. If there is no quality product the company will fail itself and you will loose all your money that you have invested into your organization. I hope this article will help you decide about your next MLM venture.
